Christine's Moderna design is an elegant, contemporary design that looks wonderful on a cushion, but equally beautiful on table linen.

• You will need an 8" (200mm) hoop
  to sew these designs.
• The design is mirrored and
  sewn 4 times on the cushion.
• The mirrored design and the grid
  is included in the download.

If you want to use these designs to make a cushion like the one shown, here is a brief outline.

• Embroider the designs around all 4 corners of your block (cut 20" square)"
• Back with pellon or wadding and embroider the grid on the diagonal.
• Trim the block to 18" square.
• Cut 4 of 5" by width of fabric for yellow frill; seam together with diagonal seams.
• Cut 4 of 7" by width of fabric for purple frill; seam together with diagonal seams.
• You can use the Ruffler attachment for your machine to make the frills
• Cut 4 of 1.5" by width of fabric for purple piping; seam together with diagonal seams.
• Sew the frills and piping onto the front of your cushion.
• Make the back of your cushion as desired, either with a cross-over back as in our Jacobean Delight or with a covered zip closure as in our Zipit.
• Attach back to front of cushion and turn through.
